Seven time Grammy award winner and superstar Prince, known for his huge hits such as “Little Red Corvette” and “Purple Rain”, has passed away today at the young age of 57.
According to a recent press release on his death, “The Carver County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.”
Prince has been a legend in pop music and a huge inspiration to so many people out there. This really comes as a shock, especially with all of the other musicians that have passed this year.
He will be greatly missed.
